One of the most common misconceptions is that you cant get bent on a cloudy day but the Rays still come through on those days so its still important to protect your skin. 
Another misconception is that tan skin is healthy, well its not. What your skin is telling you when its tanning is that your melanin is being activated to protect and create a barrier for your skin.
UV light is creating UV damage, so thats taking the suppleness away from the skin which is causing these wrinkles and fine lines premature aging. 

HOW DO I PROTECT MY SKIN FROM SUN DAMAGE? 
things that you can do to protect your skin are making sure that you wear clothing to cover areas and particularly sensitive areas and you need to reapply your sunscreen, but also making sure you wear things like sunglasses with UV protection. The lovely large floppy hats and also just making sure you take that a little bit time out from the sun, so going into the shade particularly between the hours of 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. when its at its strongest
